Selection to compete in NSW state teams for interstate competition is also a high priority of this group. Our programs are led by Tim McLaren, Director of Coaching, and Matthias Ungemach, Head Coach, ensuring that our athletes have the highest level of coaching expertise on hand, in Australia.
Tim is internationally regarded as one of the top rowing coaches in the world, having successfully coached crews at every Olympic Games since 1992 - winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Tim was Head Coach of the US Men's team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
